Here is our newest, fully illustrated guide: Polka Dot Overshot ~ How An Arrowhead Notch Went Way Too Far ~ Four page brochure, showing how a small Polka Dot Agate arrowhead ended up with an overshot flake from a notch that cut off the far edge of the blade. Photographs illustrate the effect of the overshot flake. Then the author speculates how accidents such as this result in new point shapes and even new tool designs which are far different from what the arrowhead maker had in mind when he started work on the point. To illustrate this idea of lucky discoveries, photographs of six different Rogue River Arrowheads are included. Some of them are pretty extreme in their designs and intended purpose. Order your printed copy today: $3.95, plus $1.05 first class postage in the U.S. and Canada. Order securely through PayPal.
